Instructions for ACT Poster Presentations

Upon acceptance of the poster abstract, the presenting author must register for the meeting (full meeting registration is required; there are no exceptions). Designated authors will present their poster in the virtual Exhibit Hall during the Poster Session. Your presence, and/or that of a co-author, is required during the poster session and is particularly important because this is when conference participants will plan to meet you to discuss your work. Authors who are not present during the poster session will not have their abstracts published in International Journal of Toxicology, the scientific journal of ACT. Please keep in mind that presenting authors may present only one poster at the Annual Meeting, but there is no limit to the number of posters that you may co-author. Incomplete abstracts will be eliminated from consideration. Priority of acceptance in 2020 will be given to original research. Previously published abstracts, virtually or otherwise, will not be published in International Journal of Toxicology.

Posters will be assigned a number. Please include the title and the names of the investigators at the top of your poster and include the abstract along with the other information you want to display (display should be limited to scientific data and should not contain marketing of any kind). Material, including line drawings or graphs, should be clearly presented and may be computer generated.

Posters should represent only scientific material and should not contain any marketing of a company, service, or product. The presenter may not engage in product detailing and may not direct participants to a particular exhibit, meeting, or other company-sponsored entity, website, activity, program, etc. ACT reserves the right to remove any material deemed outside the guidelines.
