We know you miss seeing your friends and colleagues right now, so let ACT bring them to you! This Boot Scootin’ Austin Party will have you feeling like you’re sitting around a banquet table with friends in downtown Austin featuring breakout spaces for music, line dancing, trivia, and mixology! Performing at the Welcome Reception will be Haydn Vitera, formerly a member of Grammy-winning Asleep at the Wheel, a multi-talented instrumentalist who plays guitar, keys, and most notably, electric violin.
Lace up your running shoes and grab your step counter! Just because we can’t physically be in the same place doesn’t mean we can’t run together. Participants will have the freedom to complete the ToxTrot 5K Fun Run at their leisure during the week, and times will be tracked and submitted using a smartphone-compatible mobile app. Detailed instructions will be available on the Annual Meeting platform. Results will be announced on Wednesday, November 18 between 3:00 PM–4:30 PM EST during ACT Expo Live!
ACT is going “batty” on Friday the 13th! Join us for a virtual boat tour of Austin, Texas. This tour along the water of Lady Bird Lake will end with an emergence of the famous Congress Avenue Bridge’s Mexican free-tailed bats. The bats make Austin their home in the spring and summer, returning to Mexico in early fall. Don’t be afraid; the bats will only be “virtually” so close you could touch them!
It’s time to escape! Join us for this fun networking activity where participants will be split up into groups and tasked with unraveling cryptic clues and messages, solving riddles and puzzles, and working together to “escape” before time runs out. Don’t miss this interactive event!
