Back to Basics: Why, When, and How to Conduct Specialty Toxicology Studies for Eyes, Skin, and Immune System

To further its mission to educate, lead, and serve, the American College of Toxicology is proud to offer an eLearning Seminar focused on "Why, When, and How to Conduct Specialty Toxicology Studies." This seminar covers critical topics such as photosafety evaluation, immunotoxicity, dermatotoxicity, and ocular toxicity, which can become crucial during various stages of therapeutic development. These studies may be required due to the route of administration, use case, on/off-target effects, or unexpected findings from nonclinical or clinical studies. Given their complexity, they require specialized experience for proper risk assessment and regulatory success. This four-module eLearning series emphasizes practical principles and uses real-world examples to guide the design and execution of these studies, aiming to ensure success in therapeutic discovery and development.

These modules feature presentations by recognized experts in the field. Modules are available for purchase as a set. Once the live module presentations conclude, registrants will have on-demand access to the modules for 30 days from the time each archive is first accessed. Each module is 90 minutes or fewer in duration.

Disclaimer:
This seminar reflects the views of the speaker and should not be construed to represent the views or policies of the American College of Toxicology.
