Continuing Education Course
  • 215 courses presented. ACT has offered an array of courses to professionals in toxicology and related disciplines.
Study Director Training Course
  • ACT has brought its successful courses abroad, offering leading instruction in toxicology around the globe. The ACT Preclinical GLP Study Director Course was offered in Bangalore, India, in 2012. In collaboration with the Chinese Society of Toxicology, a Study Director Training Course was offered in Hangzhou in 2016, in Shanghai in 2019, and an Immunotoxicology Course was offered in Shanghai in 2017.
Toxicology Training Course
  • 49 courses presented. In the United States, ACT has collaborated with the Society of Toxicologic Pathology and Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention to host the Pathology for Nonpathologists and the Practical Reproductive and Developmental Toxicology courses, respectively. Since 2013, ACT has partnered with the British Toxicology Society to jointly host the Practical Application of Toxicology in Drug Development course in the United Kingdom and in 2015, ACT partnered with the British Society of Toxicological Pathology and the Society of Toxicologic Pathology to present the Pathology for Nonpathologists course.
Travel Grant
  • Since 2013, ACT has awarded 54 international and 111 domestic travel grants. ACT awards travel grants to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, early career professionals, and toxicologists to attend the ACT Annual Meeting. The College actively recruits contacts at universities and institutions with a toxicology program to encourage student applicants.

ACT serves as a leading forum supporting education in applied toxicology and has created programs and collaborations to further toxicological knowledge worldwide.

ACT offers webinars for broad audiences on topics ranging from basic toxicology training, to drug and chemical safety assessments, to expert advice for career advancement.
