Welcome to the American College of Toxicology, a unique community of applied toxicologists dedicated to the mission to educate, lead, and serve. Whether you are a returning ACT member or have just found us, I hope you will take some time to explore our offerings and values on our newly redesigned website.
Whatever your goals in applied toxicology, I hope you find what you need with the American College of Toxicology.
ACT delivers exclusive benefits to members to maximize their participation in the College and their contributions to the field of applied toxicology. If you’re a member and wish to take full advantage of the many resources available to you, begin by exploring the Resources section of our website. Here, you’ll find all your ACT favorites: connect and network with your colleagues on interACT and through the Membership Directory, stay up to date by reading the newsletter, progress your career or those of others by accessing the new and improved Mentorship Program, or make your next move by checking out the Career Center.
Core to the purpose of ACT are a dedication to the exchange of scientific information and perspectives as well as a focus on education in applied toxicology. To this end, ACT offers members and nonmembers a variety of courses and on-demand, year-round learning opportunities, culminating in the College’s hallmark event: the November Annual Meeting. Jumpstart your career development by visiting the Education section of our website. And to ensure that these educational opportunities are available for years to come, ACT has proudly established an Endowment to maximize opportunities for young scientists into the future. To learn more about the Endowment and to contribute to the legacy, visit the Endowment section.
ACT also seeks to advance the field of applied toxicology by contributing to the scientific literature, and the official journal of the College, International Journal of Toxicology, publishes timely manuscripts on contemporary issues in toxicology. The Journal section is the starting place for those interested in learning more about submitting a manuscript to the journal or in subscribing.
Have questions? Explore the FAQs in the About section or contact ACT Headquarters at any time. We’re always here to help.
Whatever your goals in applied toxicology—be it networking, career development, education, or getting published—I hope you find what you need with the American College of Toxicology.
