Every three years, ACT Council undergoes extensive strategic planning to ensure the ongoing relevancy and delivery of the ACT Mission to Educate, Lead, and Serve. On a yearly basis, Council reviews the three-year Strategic Plan to evaluate, assess, and reposition efforts, as needed.
To develop the 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, Council’s discussions were informed by feedback solicited through a survey administered to the ACT membership. Two overarching Goals—Excellent Scientific Education and Strategic Governance Realignment, along with associated Objectives and Strategies were developed. Council will be accountable for reviewing the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
There are plenty of exciting initiatives to develop and work on, and member engagement at all levels is critical to ACT’s successes.
