President’s Message
On behalf of the American College of Toxicology and the ACT Council, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend the ACT 45th Annual Meeting, November 17–20, 2024, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Austin, Texas.
Please Join Me
Discover why the ACT Annual Meeting has become the preferred venue for practicing toxicologists!
ACT is a global community of professional scientists representing the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, regulatory agencies, contract research organizations, academia, and consulting firms. The mission of the College is to “Educate, Lead, and Serve” scientists by providing a forum to promote an exchange of information and perspectives on safety assessment and new developments related to applied toxicological sciences.
The Annual Meeting is the heart of ACT. Our November gathering brings together a community of toxicologists at venues conducive to idea exchange, professional networking, and continuing education. Our first-rate Scientific Sessions are member-driven and organized to maximize learning opportunities. The welcoming and collegial atmosphere of the Annual Meeting is a hallmark of ACT.
The 45th Annual Meeting will include a wide-ranging scientific program and educational courses, with distinguished plenary speakers, the popular Poster Session, an Awards Ceremony, and multiple professional networking events.
ACT Expo Live! and the ACT Annual Meeting Supporter Program provide companies with a unique environment to engage in networking and marketing opportunities with toxicologists, industry consultants, and other professionals. We invite your company to join us as an exhibitor or supporter so that you can make professional connections and gain valuable exposure at the Annual Meeting.
Get out your boots and hat for some good country, blues and rock music and great barbeque and join your professional friends and colleagues at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas, to discover why the ACT Annual Meeting has become the preferred venue for practicing toxicologists.
Sincerely,
William Brock, PhD, DABT, ATS
2023–2024 President
