The American College of Toxicology is fully committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe and healthy environment for participants of the Annual Meeting.

Before Leaving Home

  • Consider packing masks and an at home COVID–19 test kit.
  • Follow relevant guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), CDC, and your local health authority.
  • Adhere to government-issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be traveling to and the region you are traveling from.
  • Evaluate your own health and that of people you are in close contact with.
  • Stay home if you feel sick.

During the Annual Meeting

  • Follow guidance from health authorities for everyday preventative actions to help stop the spread of diseases, including:
    • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
    • Use an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
    • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
    • Cover nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing; throw used tissues in the trash.
    • Disinfect personal items such as cell phones and laptops that you use often.
    • Agree to and comply with all on-site safety and sanitation procedures put in place by the venue, ACT, and health and/or government agencies at the time of the meeting.
