Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), dubbed America's Friendliest Airport, is the main airport for the Greater Phoenix area. Sky Harbor serves more than 100 domestic and international destinations. With 1,200 daily flights—about 500 of them nonstop—Sky Harbor is one of the most convenient airports in the United States. The airport is located in the middle of Greater Phoenix, less than ten minutes from downtown and within 20 miles (approximately 24 minutes) of the JW Marriott Desert Ridge.

Taxi fares are approximately $65 each way to the hotel. The JW Marriott Desert Ridge does not offer a shuttle service. Shared-ride van services are available for a fee from the airport to the resort.

There are many rental car options from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. There is a Go Rentals location on property at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge.

Local Area Shopping

The JW Marriott Desert Ridge provides a shuttle departing hourly from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm to the nearby Desert Ridge Marketplace, which provides dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

Biking

The hotel resort fee, included in the ACT hotel guest room rate, includes a two-hour bike rental, based on availability, for up to four bikes.

Car Rental

The resort offers Go Rental cars on-site.

Bus

Access the Greater Phoenix area by bus. A Greyhound Bus Station is located 20 miles from the JW Marriott Desert Ridge, and a Valley Metro bus stop is located less than half a mile from the hotel.

Light Rail

The Valley Metro Light Rail can be accessed at the nearest station, 15 miles south of the hotel.
