It’s been a crazy year and now we need more laughter and less worry. Join your fellow colleagues as we kick off the 2021 ACT Virtual Annual Meeting with hilarious Improv Comedy.
Early career professionals will have an opportunity to talk with experienced leaders in toxicology about different career paths, challenges, and professional growth areas. While not required, sharing your webcam during this event is suggested to take full advantage of the overall experience.
If you would like to add this special event, please contact ACT Headquarters.
The Poster Viewing will feature posters on a variety of topics, including general toxicology, regulatory toxicology, safety evaluation nonpharmaceuticals, toxicology methods, and safety evaluation pharmaceuticals. The viewing showcases some of the latest and most innovative work in the field. The ACT award winners’ posters will be featured—be sure to look for these merited posters in the virtual platform. Poster presenters will have the ability to network and answer questions virtually with attendees.
Listen to a keynote presentation by the Distinguished Scientist Award in Toxicology recipient, which is included as part of your Virtual Annual Meeting registration. Awards will be presented to the recipients of the Mildred Christian Women’s Leadership in Toxicology Award, Service Award, Carol C. Lemire Unsung Hero Award, Early Career Professional Award, and Award for Best Paper Published in International Journal of Toxicology. The Furst Award for Best Student Poster presentation will be announced, as will the North American Travel Grant, North American Graduate Fellowship, and International Grant recipients.
Join other ECPs for this fun networking activity where participants will be split up into groups and tasked with decoding clues and messages, solving riddles and puzzles, and working together to “break” the virtual code.

Put on your thinking caps and join fellow ACT members for trivia games and networking. This event is offered as a benefit of ACT membership.
Turn up the volume and let the music take you away! The Closing Social is your final opportunity to network and socialize with fellow Annual Meeting participants and to chat with the incoming ACT President, Alan Hoberman. Stop by and say, “See you next time!” to old friends and new. ACT looks forward to seeing you next year for the 43rd ACT Annual Meeting, November 13–16, 2022, at the Gaylord Rockies in Denver, Colorado!
