Denver International Airport (DEN) is located nine miles and approximately 10 minutes from the Gaylord Rockies. Denver International Airport is the third-busiest airport in the world and one of the busiest airline hubs.
Airports and airlines are taking new health and safety measures to help you travel with confidence. Here are a few resources to keep you safe while traveling by plane to Denver:
Domestic Travelers
Federal law requires passengers on domestic flights to wear a mask at all times while in the airport and when using public transit, during boarding and deplaning, and for the duration of the flight.
International Travelers
As of November 8, 2021, foreign nationals flying to the United States are required to be fully vaccinated and must show proof of vaccination before boarding a US-bound airplane. Check with your airline for any exceptions.
As of December 6, 2021, before boarding an international flight to the United States, air travelers aged two and older, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, are required to show documentation of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within one day of the flight’s departure.
All travelers, domestic or international, should contact their airline for the latest travel requirements and for their flight status. COVID-19 has affected staffing and operations across the airport environment, potentially adding time to your pre-flight experience and flight delays and cancellations.
Please visit the Annual Meeting COVID-19 Safety Protocols web page for more information.
