The American College of Toxicology will follow current science-based information and is fully committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe and healthy environment for participants of the Annual Meeting.
Proof of Vaccination
ACT has continued to monitor the COVID-19 situation along with local and federal guidelines. Based on current health mandates in Aurora, Colorado, the ACT meeting will not require proof of vaccination or proof of a negative PCR test. However, the local mandates could change; therefore, we ask that individuals bring a mask and proof of vaccination on their person. You may also want to consider bringing an at-home COVID-19 test kit with you.
Mask wearing is a prudent measure to prevent spread of viruses and is strongly encouraged during the meeting. Additionally, vaccination has been proven to be effective in preventing hospitalization and death from COVID-19. ACT expects that attendees use the CDC’s self-checker website daily. Should you feel unwell or suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19, we ask that you isolate.
Follow relevant guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), CDC, and your local health authority.
Adhere to government-issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be traveling to and the region you are traveling from.
Evaluate your own health and that of people you are in close contact with.
Stay home if you feel sick.
During the Annual Meeting

Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Use an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Cover nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing; throw used tissues in the trash.
Disinfect personal items such as cell phones and laptops that you use often.
Agree to and comply with all on-site safety and sanitation procedures put in place by the venue, ACT, and health and/or government agencies at the time of the meeting.
