On behalf of the American College of Toxicology and Council, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 40th Annual Meeting, November 17–20, 2019, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.
The American College of Toxicology is a society of professionals from industry, government, and academia. The mission of the College is to educate, lead, and serve scientists by promoting an exchange of information and perspectives on safety assessment and new developments related to applied toxicology.
The Annual Meeting is the heart of ACT. This November gathering brings together a community of toxicologists at small venues conducive to idea exchange, professional networking, and continuing education. Our first-rate scientific sessions are member driven, pharma focused (but not pharma exclusive), and organized to maximize learning opportunities. The welcoming and collegial atmosphere of the Annual Meeting is a hallmark of ACT.
The 40th Annual Meeting will include a wide-ranging scientific program, a welcome reception, the popular traditional poster session reception, an awards ceremony and luncheon, distinguished plenary speakers, and numerous professional networking events.
This year we will be hosting a special celebration highlighting 40 years of our Annual Meetings, featuring the important people who were instrumental in shaping what the College is today. Please join me in Phoenix and discover why the ACT Annual Meeting has become the preferred venue for practicing toxicologists.
On Sunday night in Phoenix we will officially celebrate the 40th anniversary of our Annual Meeting with a special program that all attendees should plan to attend whether you are a member or non-member. Festivities will include our invited Past Presidents, Charter members, past staff members, and a historical program on ACT will be presented.
