Manuscript Submission

Guidelines

International Journal of Toxicology (IJT) accepts submissions of manuscripts that promote basic toxicology research or facilitate and improve toxicology practice. IJT does not publish case reports, case studies, papers showing results with poorly characterized natural products, or papers focused on ecotoxicology or chemoprotection. Submissions must comply with the SAGE guidelines on prior publication.

Prospective authors should ensure they have read the journal’s Aims & Scope before submitting a manuscript. All submissions must comply with the American College of Toxicology’s Policy Statement on the Use of Animals in Toxicology.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should review the manuscript submission guidelines in full and must complete and submit the Journal Contributor Publishing Agreement. Only manuscripts of sufficient quality that meet the journal’s Aims & Scope will be reviewed. Please note that manuscripts not conforming to the manuscript submission guidelines may be returned.

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via the IJT submission site. Authors will be asked to set up an online account in the SAGETRACK system, powered by ScholarOne.
