Getting Published

To maximize the chances of a submission being accepted and published, authors should ensure that their submission meets best practices, from submission to post-publication. SAGE, the publisher of IJT, offers a freely accessible webinar exploring “How to Get Published” to assist authors in optimizing each step of the publication process. Watch as IJT Editor Mary Beth Genter, along with a panel of publishing experts, offers guidance for optimizing the manuscript submission and publication process.

In addition to this webinar, SAGE also offers a free online course on “How to Get Published.” By the end of this introductory course, for which the estimated time for completion is between one and three hours, researchers will:

• Be able to select the most appropriate journal for their research
• Understand how to successfully prepare their paper for submission
• Have confidence to navigate the peer-review process
• Know what to expect from the publishing journey, from submission to publication

Authors are encouraged to take advantage of these resources before and during the manuscript submission and publication process.
