The ACT Room Block at the Red Rock Resort is currently sold out. The ACT Room Block at the JW Marriott is sold out the night of Monday, November 9. The College has identified two other alternative properties if you are still in need of a sleeping room. The College has not negotiated a special rate with these hotels, so please contact the hotel directly if you wish to make a reservation. Hotel Reservation Deadline is October 9, 2015 When making your hotel reservation, please mention that you are with the American College of Toxicology to receive the discounted rate. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12%) in effect at the time of check-out. The room rate is offered three days prior to and three days following the ACT meeting based on availability for reservations made before the cut-off date. Room reservations received after October 9, 2015 cannot be guaranteed at the convention rate. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 Noon. Please note the hotel requires an advance deposit covering one night room and tax at the time of the reservation. This policy has been waived for our group. A credit card will still be required to guarantee the room, but it will not be charged the advance deposit. Any reservation confirmation emails received will include a statement that a deposit will be taken at time of reservation. This is an automatically generated email that the hotel cannot change.
The Red Rock Resort requires a preauthorization of $100.00 for each night’s stay to cover incidentals. This preauthorization will take place up-front (i.e., if you are staying three nights, your card will be preauthorized for $300.00 when you check in). Please note that if you use a debit card, the preauthorization will act as a direct withdrawal from your bank account and the funds will be automatically withdrawn upon check-in. After deducting an amount equal to the incidental used during your stay at the Resort, any balance will be credited to your bank account upon check-out.
Resort Amenity Fee
The resort fee has been lowered to $15.00 per night. The resort fee includes: daily in-room internet, daily newspaper, admission into the fitness center, shuttle service to/from McCarran International Airport, and shuttle service to the Las Vegas Strip.

BUYER BEWARE of Possible Hotel Reservation Fraud
There are “unofficial” housing companies aggressively pursuing exhibitors and attendees to book hotel rooms through their company at supposedly significant discounts.
Unfortunately, some past attendees have fallen prey to these companies and have either:
· Been relocated with little or no warning
· Lost their significant deposits
· Not been given the type of guest rooms they thought they had booked
· Not been given the hotel they thought they had booked
