As arguably the premier US-based organization for the discipline of toxicology, ACT Annual Meeting programs are consistently focused on topics such as drug development strategies, presentations by US FDA of evolving regulatory trends, broad topics spanning the breadth of our divergent discipline, and anything else that emerges as a common topic of debate and inconsistency within our industry. This year is no exception and provides a number of crucial and timely topics including sessions related to carcinogenicity, dermal toxicity, neurotoxicity, cardiovascular, medical devices, endocrine disruptor screening, secondary pharmacology, tofacitinib development, combination toxicology, and phospholipidosis. There are also several broad topics and emerging science as evidenced by sessions on the 4 M’s, dose selection, consumer healthcare safety/risk assessment, tumorigenicity in stem cell based therapies, and Hot Topics. So come and get a flavor of industry challenges and educational topics, ask provocative questions of session speakers, and help us make this year’s ACT Annual Meeting another genuine success.
