Registration Information

The registration fee includes all Symposia sessions, the ACT Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on Monday, continental breakfast Monday through Wednesday, all coffee breaks, and a Monday evening Poster Session with Wine and Cheese in the Exhibit Hall. Additional fees are required for Continuing Education courses and the Sunday evening Welcome Reception and Dinner.

We encourage meeting attendees who are paying by credit card to register online.

Registration Form

If you prefer not to register online, please use the PDF version of the ACT Annual Meeting Registration Form. Registration forms can be sent by email, fax, or mail. If you have registered prior to October 8 and you are a domestic registrant, you will receive your name badge, CE course and welcome reception ticket(s), and qualifying ribbons in the mail. You will not need to stand in the registration line if you received your name badge in advance. Your Program and badge holder will be available for pickup near registration on-site.

Adding a CE Course or Special Event if Already Registered: If you have already registered for the Annual Meeting and would like to add a CE course or special event ticket to your registration, please email ACT Headquarters with an additional Registration Form with your additional selections or call the Headquarters Office directly for assistance at 703.547.0875.

Welcome Reception and Dinner Ticket—$50 (per attendee/guest)

If you would like to add a guest ticket for someone who is NOT attending the ACT Annual Meeting, please fill out a separate Registration Form with their information and send it to ACT Headquarters. The guest ticket cost will be $50 for the reception and dinner. The guest badge for the Welcome Reception is valid for this event ONLY.

Meeting and Continuing Education Registration Refund Policy

Requests must be received at ACT Headquarters in writing.

  • $75 processing fee before September 3, 2018
  • 50% refund if canceled September 4, 2018–October 4, 2018
  • No refund beginning October 5, 2018

Please Note: ACT Annual Meeting registrants grant ACT permission to reproduce, copy, and publish photographs taken at the Annual Meeting unless written notification by the registrant stating otherwise is submitted in writing to the ACT Headquarters prior to the meeting or while registering on-site.

Policies

Badges

ACT name badges must be worn at all times during the meeting. Altering of badges in any manner is strictly prohibited.

Corporate Membership and Funding Policy

In line with our mission to Educate, Lead, and Serve the global community, the American College of Toxicology adheres to a funding and corporate membership position that reflects our beliefs and values. ACT reserves the right to refuse or restrict funds from any organization whose goals, objectives, or past actions are deemed inconsistent with the mission of the College. Furthermore, ACT’s commitment to high ethical standards and sound scientific principles will not be influenced by financial contributions.

Photography

ACT meeting attendees are asked to strictly adhere to the photography policy while participating in sessions and while in the Exhibit Hall and Exhibit Hall Foyer. As a courtesy to our speakers, poster presenters, and exhibitors, ACT asks that participants refrain from electronic capture of any and all presented material unless given written permission from the proprietary. Any person who does not comply with the policy may be asked to leave the event.

Posters

Posters should only represent scientific material and should not contain any marketing of a company, service, or a product. The presenter may not engage in product detailing and may not direct participants to a particular exhibit, meeting, or other company-sponsored entity, website, activity, program, etc. Any and all handout material must be limited to a one-page photocopy of the poster or abstract. ACT reserves the right to remove any material deemed outside the guidelines and does not accept responsibility for the loss of this property. Posters will be removed if not placed in assigned poster number or if a poster contains material violating the guidelines expressed.

Solicitation

Solicitation on the show floor, at the ACT Annual Meeting, and/or to ACT attendees and exhibitors by anyone other than approved exhibitors and vendors, is strictly prohibited.
