ePosters

ACT is pleased to provide poster presenters with the opportunity to share their research electronically as well as during their poster session. Poster presenters are encouraged to upload their ePosters prior to the start of their Poster Session. The submission system will remain open throughout the meeting and on-site assistance will be available at the ACT Mobile App Help Desk, located in the registration area. ePoster submission is only available to authors who have already been accepted to present their poster at the 2017 Annual Meeting. All registered meeting attendees will have access to ePosters using the ACT Mobile App, that will be available in the App Store on October 27.

Student Travel Awards

Graduate students submitting abstracts can also apply for a limited number of ACT Student Travel Awards in the amount of $1,000. Recipients must present a poster at this meeting. To be considered for a Student Travel Award, you must select the button that says “Would you like to be considered for the ACT Student Travel Award?” when submitting your poster. You will also be required to confirm the month and year of your graduation. The Annual Meeting registration fee will be waived for travel award recipients.

Graduate students who are granted a Student Travel Award will also be considered for the Furst Award. This award, established through a generous contribution from the late Dr. Arthur Furst, is given to the author of the best Student Poster at the Annual Meeting. It consists of a $2,000 travel award and plaque. Travel Award graduate students applying for the Furst Award must present their poster to the Awards Committee during the Furst Award Competition on Sunday evening, November 5, from 5:00 pm–6:30 pm. The deadline for submitting an abstract to be considered for a student award is July 1. Please remember that all students must attend the meeting and present their poster to receive the travel award. All Student Travel Award winners are required to attend the Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on Monday, November 6.
